The Powers of a Sponge

Absorbence, check.

Portability, check.

Brightness, check.

Ability to make the best Krabby Patties of the sea, only Spongebob can :)

The SpongeBob SpongeBash has been a bit disappointing with new episodes that make me feel like it was missing that something, but I love my favorite (and only, very silly) sponge. Hopefully those ten episodes tonight will be better.

Perhaps Gone

Since school let out, I've devoted way too much time to books and not enough to everything else. I don't get back to people on time, I don't write much, I even forget to eat sometimes. There are those days where I go to parks with my dad and brother for barbeques and attempting to play handball. Maybe growing my nails so long isn't such a good idea either. Those storylines hopping around in my head is not helping. Though I only think of three of them seriously. There are two that I'm nervous about and one that I rarely think about.

I lost my words. I'll type something quirky tomorrow, hopefully.

I don't know your name, so I'll call you medicine.

Musically Ecstatic

I did not grow up listening to Michael Jackson even though he released an album a few months after I was born. It was mostly Teresa Deng from my mother and the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Tina Turner, Don McLean and more '60s and '70s music from my father. Nowadays, I've become a huge fan of Michael Jackson, listening to his albums online since I don't think I have a dollar in change. So I live on imeem, listening to Dirty Diana and P.Y.T.

This morning, I had a dream that some woman was running away from the police who were accusing her of a murder she did not commit. It looked like she was in Florida with all those places she was running through but the other people in my dream were definitely not from Florida. I recognized almost all of them from my area. Really crazy dream but I'm thinking about making it part of my writing project. Maybe just a short story since it took place over three days. That'll be fun :)

MJ's red cloud that day. I thought it was a fire in the sky.

Survival ★

Summer can be boring when you are almost allowed to do nothing. Sitting in front of my computer is not as fun as joking with my science teacher or watching my social studies teacher taunt the students that forget to do homework. Or even those annoying boys who talked about Chuck Norris, drew obscene (but creative) cartoons of superheroes on chalkboards, and made screeching noises with their cellphone speakers. I truly do miss school, no joke intended.

I really should have gone back on the last day instead of never returning once I got my report card and diploma. But thanks to the social studies teacher who taunted me about forgetting my binder for notebook check and textbooks for returning, the 96 I got from the class shot my grade up to 89.75%. It was only a 1.5% difference but I haven't been that close to 90 since 7th grade.

Will I succeed in high school? Probably not. I might not survive either if Freshmen Friday is true. Wait...I think the seniors and juniors aren't much bigger than the freshmen :)

Imma be . . . eating some crazy cookies.

Freak Show

Remembering those days when I would ask the spanish teacher if I could go to the bathroom, she would always say "No drawing on the walls. No drugs. And especially..." We're supposed to complete it with "No sex." Like you can really do much of anything in a stinky bathroom.

This summer, I'll try to be my muse so it'll speed up my now-slow-but-once-fast-writing-of-a-chapter rate. If only it would improve my English.

I have this urge to learn languages that aren't spoken in my area like Catalan, Sicilian, and Taiwanese. Maybe Esperanto, Greek, and Dutch too. And then there are those common languages I do want to learn like Mandarin and Korean.

The summer of girl groups, yes? Oh hell yeah :)

Goodbye Regents, Hello Freedom!

Last regents today, and I can kiss the library hello! 45 books can never be enough.

I had watched So You Think You Can Dance and I can't believe Ashley and Max are gone :( But if someone didn't leave, no one would ever leave. And I finally found out who sang the song Goodbye on the show. Heard it centuries ago when it debuted on Z100 or something like that and now I can listen to it all day. :)

I'm so far from civilation now, there isn't much to talk about except for my Whopper = Cheese + Burger friends. That's a lot better than my nickname, Godzilla!

Na na na na, na na na na Hey hey hey Goodbye ;)

Out of My World

Today, I decided to do some channel surfing since I decided not to go to school like a rebel. No, not a rebel! My class had gone to Six Flags and I did not. It would have been ruined with all the pouring rain. The rain isn't very depressing, because June is crying tears of joy.

Back to channel surfing. I came across Lady Vengeance on Free Movies on Demand. Since I'm such a freak for everything Korean, I watched it. Oh the gore, it was absolutely jaw dropping and I would have cried if I was by myself. At least they all got their revenge, especially the kindhearted Geum Ja.

Why does everything above sounds like a diary? Maybe I should post a story here...

Conscience: Don't do it!
Allison: If I may ask, why?
Conscience: Because I'm always right!

The wars my conscience and I start...
